Carbon Black Announces Cb Predictive Security Cloud, Cb Defense for AppDefense and Cb ThreatSight
The Cb Predictive Security Cloud (PSC) is a converged endpoint protection platform delivering next-generation security and IT operations services through the cloud and ensures that products and services are delivered in an effective and timely manner.
Carbon Black has joined forces with VMware, Inc., to provide VMware AppDefense customers with the ability to leverage Carbon Black’s Collective Defense Cloud (CDC). AppDefense is a new security solution that uses the virtual infrastructure to discover and capture application intended state, and can detect and automate response to attacks that attempt to manipulate those applications. VMware AppDefense will leverage Carbon Black’s Collective Defense (CDC) to classify process reputation, helping security teams determine which behaviors require additional verification and which behaviors can be pre-approved.
Cb ThreatSight is Carbon Black’s newly launched managed threat hunting service leveraging the PSC. The service simplifies alert management with a console that prioritizes and streamlines the validation of important alerts. Cb ThreatSight makes it easy for customers to tap into the wide network of MSSPs and IR firms partnering with Carbon Black.
Exciting modifications are ahead for the Carbon Black Partner Program. Although, our Partner Rewards program ended on 12/31/2017 with 1/19/18 as the final day to claim points, we are not ruling out other types of incentive programs for partners in the future.
