The IBM Bluemix Sales and Technical Workshop is a FREE 2-day hands-on event to help IBM business partners understand IBM’s Cloud Point of View and how IBM Bluemix can help you transition to a Cloud business. Additionally, we will discuss how you can grow your business with IBM Cloud thru incentives and sales plays. There will also be exercises providing hands-on experience developing and deploying Bluemix applications.

Objectives

At the end of this workshop, students will have covered the following topics:

  • IBM’s Cloud Point of View
  • Where IBM Bluemix fits into IBM’s Cloud POV
  • IBM’s Differentiation in the marketplace
  • How to demo IBM Bluemix to potential customers
  • How to make money selling IBM Cloud solutions
  • How to develop and deploy Bluemix applications
  • Techniques for building cloud-native applications

Prerequisites

A Bluemix account is required to complete the hands-on lab exercises (day 2).

  • Hands-on – Use Bluemix tools to develop a Node.js app
  • IBM’s Cognitive Point of View
  • Hands-on – Bluemix Debugging
  • Hands-on – Integrate a Bluemix service with an existing application
