Ready for this year’s Government IT Sales Summit?

Selling IT to the public sector has never been more challenging. So much is in flux—we’ve got new revenue streams created by XaaS; an incoming administration with a new agenda and staff; evolving procurement policies; and fast-moving, disruptive technology.

With so much at stake, immixGroup, an Arrow company, designed its 3rd annual signature event—the Government IT Sales Summit—to help lead attendees across these new Bridges of Growth. The Summit will give solution providers, IT manufacturers, systems integrators, and value-added resellers the tools and resources necessary for bridging the gaps to growth.

This year’s Summit will be held Thursday, November 17 in Reston, Virginia from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

We’re thrilled that this year’s keynote speaker is Dr. Adam Steltzner, a NASA engineer who led the entry, descent, and landing of the Curiosity Mars rover. He’ll share insights during lunch at Summit on leading high-performing teams, managing innovation, and driving toward excellence.

We’ve designed 15 content-rich sessions, including sales and marketing tactics for this upcoming year of transition; uniting cybersecurity, mobility, and the Internet of Things; what’s next for CDM; and leveraging the value of open source. And of course we’ll hold our standing-room-only Defense and Civilian budget briefings, along with sessions devoted to the fundamentals of selling to the federal government, and state and local governments and education (SLED).

Perhaps as valuable as the sessions are the unparalleled networking opportunities at the Summit—from casual conversations in the hallways to the “gotta be there” Networking Reception & Vendor Expo. (We’re opening the Reception & Expo an hour earlier based on feedback from last year’s attendees.) The Vendor Expo will feature best-in-class solutions as well as emerging, disruptive technologies–all aimed at helping channel partners differentiate their solutions, diversify their capabilities, and fill in gaps within existing solutions.

This is a unique tech event —designed to inform and connect sales, marketing, channel, and business executives who sell to the public sector, providing perspectives from government officials, past and present, and industry leaders.
